OCALA, FL – A driver was injured in a rollover accident in southwest Ocala on Thursday afternoon, officials said.
Ocala Fire Rescue posted details of the incident on Facebook at about 12:15 p.m. OFR’s Engine 4 and Rescue 4, Ocala Police Department, and Marion County Fire Rescue units responded to the scene on SW 38th Street and SW 60th Avenue.
According to the rescue squad, a driver was trying to avoid a collision at the intersection and the vehicle flipped, resulting in a shattered windshield, bent roof and front end damage.
The driver was transported to the hospital, but no details were available on the person’s condition. No other injuries were reported.
