NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a fatal accident involving a motorcyclist and a pedestrian near New Port Richey, reports FOX13 News.
The collision happened on Little Road near Embassy Boulevard just after midnight Jan. 19. According to the FHP, the motorcycle rider was going south on Little Road when he collided with a pedestrian attempting to cross the roadway.
The motorcyclist, a 25-year-old man, and the pedestrian, an 18-year-old man, were pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital. Their names were not immediately released.
