MIAMI, FL – Commuters in the Miami Gardens area were faced with significant traffic delays following a rush-hour crash early this morning.
According to Total Traffic Miami, the accident took place sometime before 7:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the freeway near the exit to Miami Gardens Drive, or FL-860.

At least two southbound lanes were closed as a result of the crash, causing major delays from Broward into Miami for some time afterward.
We do not know at this time if anyone suffered injuries as a result of the collision. All lanes have since reopened.
