PASCO COUNTY, FL – A man from Zephyrhills has died and a passenger was seriously injured after a motorcycle crash in Hudson Sunday evening.
According to The Free Press the 47-year-old man was operating a motorcycle with a 14-year-old girl as a passenger on US-19 near Bolton Avenue.
An 87-year-old Hudson man was driving a car northbound on the highway when they approached Bolton Avenue to make a U-turn. He drove into the path of the motorcycle and crashed into it as it was in the inside lanes of southbound US-19.
The man and girl were both ejected into the roadway. The man was pronounced dead at the scene while the girl was rushed to an area hospital with serious injuries.
It’s unclear whether the driver of the car was injured.
