The Jeep entered the path of a Yamaha motorcycle going east, and the SUV was hit by the motorcycle.  The motorcyclist, a 34-year-old man from Zephyrhills, was seriously injured.

The driver of the SUV, a 37-year-old man from Fort Myers, and his passengers, were not injured.

The FHP is continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
