OCALA, FL – First responders were called to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident in Ocala on Wednesday afternoon.
According to a Facebook post by Ocala Fire Rescue, units were dispatched to SW 60th Avenue and SW 38th Street at about 3:50 p.m. after a report of a collision.
A sedan and a pickup truck were found upright with moderate front-end damage while a third vehicle, another pickup truck, was on its side with the driver trapped inside.
Fire crews stabilized the rolled over pickup, removed the roof and extricated the driver. That person, along with the driver and a passenger in the sedan, were taken to an area hospital. No details were released on their conditions. The driver of the other pickup was not injured.
Ocala Fire Rescue, Marion County Fire Rescue, and the Ocala Police Department also responded to the scene.
