WEIRSDALE, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol released information regarding a deadly motorcycle accident that occurred in Marion County Sunday morning.
According to the Ocala StarBanner, the crash occurred at the intersection of Southeast 175th Street and Southeast 155th Avenue in Weirsdale at about 12:45 a.m.
The FHP said a man was riding a motorcycle eastbound on 175th Street when he traveled across the westbound lane and onto the north grass shoulder, where the bike overturned.
The rider, a 28-year-old resident of Weirsdale, died at the scene.
