PASCO COUNTY, FL – An 86-year-old man died following a two-vehicle collision in New Port Richey Monday afternoon.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, the fatal collision happened around noon on Ridge Road just east of Regency Park Boulevard.

The man was exiting a private driveway onto Ridge Road when an eastbound driver in a sedan struck the side of his vehicle.

LUTZ, FL – A 31-year-old man from Land O’Lakes was struck and injured by a driver while riding his bike in Pasco County Saturday morning.

According to FOX13, the crash happened at the intersection of Dale Mabry Highway and US-41 around 5:40 a.m.

The man was riding his bicycle on the outside shoulder of Dale Mabry Highway when he was struck by a driver. He was thrown into the roadway where he was struck again by a man on a motorcycle.

PALM HARBOR, FL – A 23-year-old man lost his life after a crash on US-19 northbound in Palm Harbor Tuesday morning.

According to FOX13, the crash happened around 5:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway near Curlew Road.

The 23-year-old man from Holiday was traveling in a Nissan sedan behind the tractor-trailer. For “unknown reasons” the man crashed into the rear of the truck.

PASCO COUNTY, FL – Two women from Zephyrhills were killed after a single-vehicle accident in Pasco County early Saturday morning.

A 25-year-old driver was headed south on Crystal Springs Road just past Douglas Road around 2 a.m. Saturday, reports the Tampa Bay Times.

She lost control of the vehicle and swerved into the east shoulder of the roadway before crashing into a tree.

PASCO COUNTY, FL – A man from Zephyrhills has died and a passenger was seriously injured after a motorcycle crash in Hudson Sunday evening.

According to The Free Press the 47-year-old man was operating a motorcycle with a 14-year-old girl as a passenger on US-19 near Bolton Avenue.

An 87-year-old Hudson man was driving a car northbound on the highway when they approached Bolton Avenue to make a U-turn. He drove into the path of the motorcycle and crashed into it as it was in the inside lanes of southbound US-19.

HOLIDAY, FL – A teacher at Anclote High School in Pasco County passed away from her injuries after she was hit by a vehicle in the school’s parking lot last Thursday.

Ciara McKeon was hit by a 24-year-old driver in a Kia Sorento in the parking lot at the start of the school day. Coach McKeon, as she was known by students and staff, was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital after being freed from underneath the SUV.

According to NBC2, the 28-year-old physical education teacher and tennis coach succumbed to critical injuries on Feb. 11. The driver who hit McKeon said they did not see her in the parking lot.

HOLIDAY, FL – A physical education teacher was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of Anclote High School Thursday morning.

Ciara McKeon, 28, was struck by a driver in an SUV at the back of the school’s parking lot near the gymnasium, reports WTSP. Emergency crews arrived at the school on Sweetbriar Drive around 7 a.m. They found McKeon pinned underneath the vehicle with serious injuries.

She was transported to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition.

PASCO COUNTY, FL – One person died after their vehicle crashed into a pond off SR-54 in Lutz Wednesday morning.

According to WFLA, a 52-year-old woman was traveling on SR-54 near Henning Lane when she lost control of her vehicle and went off the road into a pond. Her vehicle was completely submerged and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the cause of the incident.

PASCO COUNTY, FL – A man died when he was struck by a vehicle when  walking along a roadway northeast of Zephyrhills Sunday morning.

The victim was walking south in the northbound lane of Old Lakeland Highway at Melrose Avenue at about 4:25 a.m. when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle, reports the Tampa Bay Times.

The identities of the victim and driver have not been released.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL – An 81-year-old man died and a 13-year-old passenger was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash near State Road 54 Wednesday night.

According to WFLA, the man was headed south on Wiregrass Ranch Boulevard approaching a construction zone when he hit a barrier fence. The vehicle then collided with a John Deere excavator at the construction site.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger was transported to an area hospital for serious injuries.
